A gift,
from our locally-grown trees in Hong Kong;
A keepsake,
from Super Typhoon Mangkhut (Hurricane Signal No. 10) in 2018
The tens of thousands of trees felled by Typhoon Mangkhut most likely ended up going to landfill unless there were plans by the government or other concerned green groups to process them into something usable. Saddened to see any timber going to waste, we're proud to have collaborated with HK Timber Bank to design and produce this crayon holder using these fallen trees.
This wooden holder displays 12 Stockmar stick beeswax crayons and 12 block crayons (a staple in Waldorf education). Each holder is a horizontal cut from the main tree trunk or branch, therefore the size and shape of each holder varies. Truly a unique keepsake from nature. We encourage you to come visit us in person and pick out the holder of your liking!
Material: Acacia
Proudly made in Hong Kong
The holder may be purchased individually, or together as a bundle with the following:
- 12 Stockmar stick beeswax crayons and 12 block crayons (Waldorf assortment)
- A beautiful book titled 樹的禮物 published by CottonTree Publishing
